How to plan your Marrakech villa rental budget
To compare two villas, start with the stay you have in mind: the bedrooms you need, the number of nights and the services you would like. The nightly rate is a starting point; your budget also depends on what the proposal includes and which extras you choose.
Start with the whole-villa budget, not a price per person
In our enquiry form, the budget is entered in euros per night for the whole villa and the entire group, excluding extras. It is not a price per guest or the total cost of your holiday.
Tell us the number of nights, adults and children, and the bedroom arrangement you need. For several families, explain which bedrooms should be separate and which spaces you would like to share. The selection of villas with six bedrooms or more is a useful starting point, but check each property's layout: a bedroom count alone does not confirm every sleeping arrangement.
A neighbouring villa or an annex offered as a separate rental should be listed separately in the proposal. Do not assume it is part of the main house's price.
Compare the same stay and the same services
For each proposal, ask for the accommodation total for your dates, followed by the extras you would like to include. Multiplying a nightly rate by the number of nights only works when that rate has been confirmed for every night concerned.
Use the following checklist to prepare your comparison. It does not describe a standard package available at every villa.
| Item | Included or extra? | What to clarify |
|---|---|---|
| Accommodation | According to the property's proposal | Dates, number of nights, bedrooms and spaces included; any annex rented separately. |
| Housekeeping and maintenance | Check for the chosen property | Tasks covered, frequency of visits and what is included in the price. |
| Cooking, chef and meals | A private chef is offered on quotation through the concierge service | Meals required, number of diners, preparation and service; exactly what the arrangement covers. |
| Groceries | Pre-arrival grocery shopping is offered on quotation | Products requested, ingredient purchases and any shopping service: which costs are included? |
| Pool heating | Property-specific conditions | Whether heating can be arranged for your dates, how it will operate and any additional charge. |
| Transfers and other services | Concierge services offered on quotation | Journeys, number of travellers, dates, selected activities or treatments, availability and confirmed price. |
Private chefs and pre-arrival shopping appear among the concierge services. Their presence on the website does not mean they are included in every rental. Similarly, inclusion in the heated or heatable pool selection does not guarantee that heating is included for all dates.
Separate the cost of the stay from the payment arrangements
Once the items are clear, compare the confirmed accommodation amount plus the extras you have chosen. This is more useful than comparing two starting prices that cover different services.
Also ask about the minimum stay, deposit, payment schedule and cancellation terms. These need to be confirmed for your proposal; they are not universal conditions that can be inferred from another property's description.
Before splitting the budget between guests, make sure everyone is using the same scope: the villa alone, or the villa plus certain meals, journeys and activities. A group estimate helps you plan; the confirmed breakdown establishes what is actually included.
Share your priorities, even when your budget is not fixed
The budget field is optional. You can ask for advice without choosing an arbitrary amount. Explaining what matters most and where you can be flexible helps frame the enquiry: separate bedrooms, staff, meals at the villa, a heatable pool or a preferred area.
When you know your budget, enter the accommodation part in the euros-per-night field. Use the message to explain the services you would like and any separate allowance for them. Do not enter your total holiday budget in a field intended for one night.
